Lea Parrell


Known throughout the industry as an "opportunity broker," Lea Parrell brings over 25 years of diverse experience in every area of marketing. Lea has been responsible for a variety of successful and unique marketing & sponsorship strategies, media and corporate partnerships, events & festivals, television broadcasts and cause-related marketing projects.

Lea is the Co-producer of the annual Redpath Waterfront Festival Toronto. In addition, Lea and her company, Harmony Marketing, have been engaged in a wide range of distinctive projects. Prior to launching her company, Lea gave over 15 years to various divisions of Special Olympics Canada, including 6 highly productive years as Vice President of Marketing & Development. Her wide-ranging roles at Special Olympics Canada allowed her to use her expertise in the areas of sponsorship, marketing, branding, events, communications and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).


Victoria Syme

Manager, Marketing and Communications

Victoria Syme is a public relations and media communications specialist with experience in marketing, event management, social media, production and media relations. Victoria graduated with a HBA in Communications from McMaster University and went on to do a Post-Graduate diploma in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Centennial College.

Victoria was on the consumer team at Veritas Communications, a Public Relations Agency in Toronto and was privileged to work on clients such as CBC, EXPRESS, AGO, Special Olympics, Budweiser, SUBWAY Canada and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. Victoria joined the Harmony Marketing team in 2012 and worked extensively on the Redpath Waterfront Festival, TALL SHIPS® 1812 Tour, 20 VIC Management and Chicago's Tall Ships Festival. Victoria is delighted to be working with Harmony Marketing for a third year and will be the Communications lead on the Redpath Waterfront Festival 2015 and the Ready, Willing and Able campaign.


Katie Raskina

PR + Communications Coordinator

Katie is a hardworking people person with a passion for news and communications.  In 2016, Katie graduated with a bachelor of journalism degree and minor in finance from Ryerson University. After graduating, she moved to Regina and spent four months there working as a reporter for CBC Saskatchewan. When Katie returned to Toronto, she started working for CTV as a news writer, writing copy and breaking news for acclaimed anchors, like Ken Shaw and Lindsey Deluce.

Katie is also an experienced public speaking coach and presenter. For six years, she worked as a coach, helping to transform countless young people into confident and compelling speakers. In January 2018, Katie decided she wanted to use her storytelling skills to make brands and events come to life. She made the switch over to PR and is proud to be Harmony Marketing’s PR & Communications Coordinator.


Delena Broomer

Administration Assistant

Delena is an administrative support professional with over 20 years of experience providing administrative assistance to an intellectual property practice for 70 lawyers, patent and trademark agents with one of Canada’s largest intellectual property law firms. Many of the trademark portfolios Delena helped manage were Canadian and multi-national corporations, including Fortune 500 companies and some of the biggest intellectual property rights owners in the world.

Coming from such a client-based environment, Delena understands what it takes to develop a solid relationship with clients externally and internally with her team. Delena’s the one that keeps the Harmony Team in tune and we are so glad that she does!
