Lea Parrell


Known throughout the industry as an "opportunity broker," Lea Parrell brings over 30 years of diverse experience in every area of marketing. Lea has been responsible for a variety of successful and unique marketing & sponsorship strategies, media and corporate partnerships, events & festivals, television broadcasts and cause-related marketing projects.

Lea is the Co-producer of the annual Redpath Waterfront Festival Toronto. In addition, Lea and her company, Harmony Marketing, have been engaged in a wide range of distinctive projects. Prior to launching her company, Lea gave over 15 years to various divisions of Special Olympics Canada, including 6 highly productive years as Vice President of Marketing & Development. Her wide-ranging roles at Special Olympics Canada allowed her to use her expertise in the areas of sponsorship, marketing, branding, events, communications and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).


Victoria Syme

Manager, Marketing + PArtnerships

Victoria Syme is a marketing, sponsorship and communications specialist with experience in public relations, event management, social media, partnerships, production and media relations. Victoria graduated with a HBA in Communications from McMaster University and went on to do a Post-Graduate diploma in Public Relations and Corporate Communications at Centennial College.
Victoria started her career at a large public relations agency in Toronto and was privileged to work on clients such as CBC, EXPRESS, AGO, Special Olympics, Budweiser, SUBWAY Canada and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. Victoria joined the Harmony Marketing team in 2012 and manages all marketing and sponsorship for clients including the annual Redpath Waterfront Festival, PortsToronto’s Sail-In Cinema, Sugar Shack TO, TALL SHIPS Challenge Great Lakes Series and more.


Alyson Bruce

SR. Coordinator, Communications + Public Relations

Alyson is a public relations and communications professional with experience in media relations, marketing & sponsorship, social media, and graphic design. Alyson graduated with a BA in Psychology and a Minor in Marketing from the University of British Columbia in 2014 and continued on to complete a Post-Graduate certificate in Public Relations and Corporate Communications at Centennial College. Alyson is currently completing a certificate in Graphic Design at George Brown College to add visual communications to her skillset. 
Alyson joined the Harmony Marketing team as the Communications & Public Relations Coordinator in 2016 and has worked extensively on the communication and public relations strategies for the Redpath Waterfront Festival, Sugar Shack TO, The Quay and the ONTARIO 150 Tour.


Delena Broomer

Administration Assistant

Delena is an administrative support professional with over 20 years of experience providing administrative assistance to an intellectual property practice for 70 lawyers, patent and trademark agents with one of Canada’s largest intellectual property law firms. Many of the trademark portfolios Delena helped manage were Canadian and multi-national corporations, including Fortune 500 companies and some of the biggest intellectual property rights owners in the world.

Coming from such a client-based environment, Delena understands what it takes to develop a solid relationship with clients externally and internally with her team. Delena’s the one that keeps the Harmony Team in tune and we are so glad that she does!
